Pilates Tower 

A Pilates tower class is a workout that uses a vertical frame with springs to strengthen and tone muscles. The tower is a piece of Pilates equipment that can be used for a full-body workout. 

How it works​:

  • The tower has a vertical frame with attachments like springs, a push-through bar, and a roll-down bar 

  • You can sit, stand, or lie down on a mat while using the springs for resistance 

  • The tower can be wall-mounted or attached to a reformer 

Benefits 

  • Builds strength, flexibility, and muscular endurance

  • Improves spinal mobility

  • Helps you understand your body and how it moves and stretches

  • Can be a good place to start for beginners

Exercises 

  • Many of the same exercises can be done on the tower as on the reformer, but they may feel different

  • Exercises include short spine, bridging, feet in straps, swam, and teaser​
